Global asymptotic and finite-gain L2 stabilisation of port-controlled Hamiltonian systems subject to actuator saturation

چکیده
This paper considers the stabilization problem for a port-controlled Hamiltonian system subject to actuator saturation and input additive external disturbances. Conditions are identified under which a static output feedback law would achieve global asymptotic stabilization. Under some additional growth conditions on the nonlinear functions involved in the system, the same feedback law would also achieve finite gain L2 stabilization. In establishing these results, an estimate of the finite gain is also obtained.

Anti-windup compensation for systems with sensor saturation: a study of architecture and structure
This paper proposes a linear dynamic anti-windup strategy for the alleviation of performance and stability problems in systems which are linear apart from saturating sensors. Unlike anti-windup compensation for systems subject to actuator saturation, there is no agreed architecture for applying anti-windup to systems with sensor saturation and therefore attention is devoted to the discussion of...
متن کاملStabilization of Networked Control Systems with Variable Delays and Saturating Inputs
In this paper, improved conditions for the synthesis of static state-feedback controller are derived to stabilize networked control systems (NCSs) subject to actuator saturation. Both of the data packet latency and dropout which deteriorate the performance of the closed-loop system are considered in the NCS model via variable delays. Two different techniques are employed to incorporate actuator...
متن کاملStabilisation of a Nonlinear Flexible Beam in Port-Hamiltonian Form
The aim of this paper is to present a simple extension of the theory of linear, distributed, port-Hamiltonian systems to the nonlinear scenario. More precisely, an algebraic nonlinear skew-symmetric term has now been included in the PDE. It is then shown that the system can be equivalently written in terms of the scattering variables, and that these variables are strictly related with the Riema...
متن کاملGain Scheduling Output Feedback Control of Linear Plants with Partial Actuator Saturation
Abstract: From a gain-scheduling control perspective, we will study the output feedback control problem for linear systems with some of control channels subject to actuator saturation. This includes the scenario of all actuator saturation as a special case. A feedback controller, expressed in the form of linear fractional transformation, is proposed to guarantee regional stability of the closed...
متن کاملNorm Vanishment and Its Applications in Constrained Control Part II: The L_{2} Case
In Part I of this paper, we introduced the notion of L∞-vanishment and established several kinds of characterizations of this notion. Based on this notion, L∞ low gain feedback was reconsidered and a systematic approach to L∞ low gain feedback design was proposed. In this second part of the paper, we consider the parallel notion of L2-vanishment. We establish several characterizations of the L2...
